People just behave so differently (and by that I mean badly) when they slip into that Halloween costume. Such fun! The Eastern shore came through for us in a big way last weekend, both in Cambridge (it's hard to play drums and get a lap dance at the same time....but worth the effort)and in Salisbury. An excellent mix of old pals and new friends. We can't wait to get back to see y'all again. Well, some lazy-bones in this band required the weekend off, so we're off for the weekend, but let's talk about some important up coming shows that you'll be attending.... On Saturday the 15th we're at the BARN in Carney, Md 410-882-6182. This is part of our "we live in Baltimore, so let's play there sometimes" campaign. But it is crucial that lots of you people show up, cuz if we don't have a good crowd, we get pissy and that's no good for anyone, so come see us at the Barn next week. Well, now here's something interesting. I'm sure you're all familiar with SEACRETS in Ocean City, right? Well up to this point we haven't been able to get into this place without paying a cover charge, but thanks to the wonders of new management we are finally getting a chance to smear our rock n roll DNA all over the place. But since we are new to there we have to play on a less than desirable night in order to prove our mettle (pay your dues, but get a freakin' receipt, I always say). So here's the deal, THURSDAY THE 20th of November BBFM will be playing at SEACRETS in Ocean City. Most likely, there will not be too many people there on a Thursday night in the winter, but we were hoping that some of you good people (especially those living on the eastern shore)might be able to take that Friday off (a well deserved day off I might add)and come and give us some familiar faces (and whatnot) to perform to. I'm giving you plenty of notice, so get on it, mmmmkay. It'll be fun and hopefully we'll win us some prime weekend dates during the summer time.
