From: "Bigger Better Faster More" Date: Fri, 3 Oct 2003 Subject: The New BiggerBetterFasterMore Fall Season Hiya, Man can you believe how much fun we had last week at the Olde Towne Tavern? Neither can I. I sure hope you didn't miss it, because it was truly a one of a kind event. Soooo many faces from the distant and not too distant past as well as lots of present day and new friends. If you looked closely you could see smoke coming out of my ears. And what a thrill it was to be standing up front, so close to all of you people. I must admit I was kind of intimidated until a few of the shots kicked it. It's a whole different thing when I don't have that drumset barrier between me and you. And speaking of no drumset between me and you, this is the last week that I will be out in front of the band and Rob Minnick will be guesting on drums. So unless medical science fails me, my carpal tunnel surgery wounds will be all healed up and I'll be playing againg next week. I encourage you to come and see us this weekend and find out for yourself just how awkward a front-man can be. This SATURDAY the 4th of OCTOBER (already?!?) it's a return trip to GENOVA'S in HAMPSTEAD, MD 410-239-4100. We always have fun here and we love the people at this joint. So why not make a trip out this Saturday, enjoy some of their fine basghetti and watch me stroll in 10 minutes before showtime for the very last time before I'm back to the grind of being the drummer. Show starts at 9pm...... Our "Win a free BBFM show in your house" contest is over. We will draw the winning name in front of people this weekend so youze know it's legit. You need not be present to win. We'll announce the winner next week so everyone can start jockeying for an invitation to that lucky person's party. We've found a new web-hosting company that offers all kinds of cool features that we will be adding to our site. For instance, this host features a thing called a "blog" which is a short, rather foul sounding code word for web-log. These things are all the rage on the net these days and thousands of people post their every day thoughts and feelings for the world to read. I'm not all together sure that you all need to be reading my every day thoughts and feelings(some of you that know me, know what I mean) but anyway, lots of new stuff. Next Friday the 10th it's back to CANCUN CANTINA. On Saturday the 11th it's PUTTY HILL STATION for MARY CHILCOAT'S birthday. Some background for those of you who don't know Mary; She's our sax/keys/guitar guy David's wife and I think that she is super swell. I have often asked her for a dna sample so that I could construct my own perfect woman, but since I don't have access to a genetics lab she doe not take me serously. So join all of us and all of Mary's Visually appealing friends for a special night (psst, she turning 16 and Dave bought her a new Camaro. don't tell). Plus it's good to be back in Parkville.
