From: "Bigger Better Faster More" Date: Fri, 25 Jul 2003 Subject: The Somewhat Serious BiggerBetterFasterMore Okey Dokey, I know that some of you already know this and are wondering what's going on. And I know that this will come as quite a shock to some of you that don't already know (damn, this sounds ominous). So hear's the deal: After more than 4 years together BiggerBetterFasterMore and bassist Jody Lewis have decided to part ways. I hasten to point out that there is no ill will, no hard feelings on anyone's part. Quite simply put, as time has gone by and the band has evolved into what we are in terms of sound, style, taste (or lack there of)we find ourselves in different places. It's just like what happened to me with my first 3 wives; as we grew older, we simply grew apart (except unlike my previous wives there will be no legal action or arguing over furniture). Jody is a great player and a great performer and most importantly, still a great friend. If it were not for him, BBFM would not be where we are today. We all wish him lots of luck and encourage you to support whatever he ends up doing. If you would like to contact Jody, just send us an email and I'll forward it right to him. Now you know the real story....... On a related note, BBFM welcome's our old/new bass player Adrian Cox to the band. I'm sure most of you were not around way back at the start of this band, but Adrian was our original bass player (Sorry Dave, you're still the new guy on a technicality). He left the band all those years ago to pursue a career in not being in BiggerBetterFasterMore, but time and tide has brought him back our way. We strongly urge you to say "Hi Adrian" in that special way that you do.........And yes, in case you were noticing a pattern, we do only hire bass players with uni-sex names. A Jody, an Adrian, what's next a Pat? Perhaps Kim? Maybe Corey? Who knows. In other news.....I have been hinting around about a new contest and here it is: Anyone who goes to the BUY STUFF section of www.BiggerBetterFasterMore.net and purchases an item will have their name entered in a drawing.
