Yeah we took last week off and I feel so secure in our relationship that I felt no need to write you or speak to you at all since we were not playing and we didn't need your support. Doesn't that make you feel fantastic to think that our relationship is that healthy? Well, we're back and I am reverting to the same clingy, needy bast#*d that I've always been. LOVE US!!!!!!! LOVE US!!!!!!!!!! So anyway if the good lord above can see fit to stop the rain long enough we (that's BiggerBetterFasterMore for all of you with short term memory problems)will be performing this Friday May the 23rd from 5:30 til 8pm at POWER PLANT LIVE in dowtown Baltimore (offcial slogan: The City That Reads The Instruction Booklet For Our New 9mm Handgun Before Discharging It At A Bus Stop). This here mega-event will take place in the plaza outside of Bar Baltimore, Have A Nice Day Cafe, Port Discovery, The Painful Rash Lounge, BoBo's Clown Room, Aunt Fester's House of Things Better Left Unsaid, etc, etc, etc. Sooooo if the weather outside ain't frightful, BBFM will sound delightful and since I've no place to go, get in your car and go, go, go. Yeah I was kinda mistaken when I said that this was a rain or shine show. Truth is the stage is not undercover and if the weather is bad, they will cancel the show. What my contract actually said is that we get paid even if it rains, and that really makes me happy. But if we do play, stick around afterward and join us as we head over to Baltimore's famous red light district "The Block" for some sex in the champagne room....... Saturday the 24th I will be Psycho Dance Partying it up at Bufallo Billiards in Gaithersburg, Md (ummm, I don't have the phone number handy cuz my palm pilot's all the way down stairs and the dog is asleep on my feet. Show some ingenuity and look it up for yourself, ok?). Fo the umpteeth time this involves a d.j. spinning whatever the hell it is d.j.'s spin, me saying highly innapropriate things and giving you prizes and you getting drunk and naked. Now that sounds like fun, don't it? Come on and check it out...... Next weekend is a biggie y'all. On Friday the 30th it's our first show at the Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington, Va so gas up the car and get your passports in order. On Saturday the 31st it's not one but two shows!!!(I may well die)!!!! First it's the outside stage at Rawhide's in Baltimore for Irv's benefit from 2-6pm and then we return to Putty Hill station in Parkville that night and we hope to be rockin' for big , sweaty crowds at all of these shows or I, for one, will throw a queen size tantrum. Here's a couple more tidbits for ya: Our 1st CD "The Tradesman's Entrance" will be released on June 9th (but we have a couple dozen advance copies on had right now if you just can't wait) Live in studio performance by BBFM on "Out To Lunch With Bill & Thrill" on Live 105.7FM starting at 12:45pm July 4th at Baker Park in Fredrick, Md at 5:30pm August 23rd the Mid Atlantic music festival at Fredrick Keys Stadium in Frederick, Md along with Never Never, Jah Works, LLoyd Dobler Effect and the Reagan Years (holy crap!!) August 29th I accidentally shave off a big chunk of my chin beard while singing "Billy Don't Be a Hero" in the mirror. Rather than shave the whole thing off, I instead decide to stand with my head cocked to the left for two weeks in order to make it look even.
