Ya see, myself and the other members of BBFM dressed up last night as high ranking government officials and went trick or treating in the neighborhood around the house that we all live in. What's that? You didn't know that we shared a house? Yep, it's true. We live dormitory style in a stately old Victorian mansion on the outskirts of Hooterville in southeastern Baltimore County. We each have our own bunkbed and we are watched over by a kindly old man named Uncle Charlie, who cooks our meals, reminds us to rehearse and give us a bath each night. But I digress.......... I, of course, dressed up as President Dub-Ya, Mike had on his best Dick Chaney costume, David made and excellent Colin Powell and Jody was positively vibrant as National Security Advisor Condoliza Rice. Our production crew rounded out the bill with Mr. Baker portraying Press Secretary Ari Fleicher and Mr. Ebey as Donald Rumsfeld. Needless to say, we were the hit of the neighborhood and that's why I'm laying here now, my face smeared with chocolate, my pants unbuttoned and all of my band mates fast asleep around me. At least I hope that's what happened............. HOLY COW!! Last weekend's show at BUFFALO BILLIARDS was a super rockin' affair. Thanks sooooooooooo much to all that attended. We'll be back there on 12/22, so make yer plans now and tell yer friends. Hopefully we can find a way to set up that won't have half of us hidden behind a brick column. Ahhh, the life of a rock star. This Saturday, November 3rd we will be trying something new again as we roll into JILLIAN'S of ANNAPOLIS, MD 410-841-5599. Now pay close attention, THIS IS NOT THE JILLIAN'S IN THE NEW ARUNDEL MILLS MALL. I don't want anyone showing up there cuz we ain't gonna be there. This is the original Jillian's that is on Sommerville Rd. off of West St. in Annapolis. Got it? Good! As a special added treat, our old buddy Michael Sauri (formerly of Fighting Gravity) will be bringing in his brand new band, CINEMA 8, to open the show. Michael is a dear, dear friend and his band is super good, so please come out early and see what he's got cookin' for you. As an extra bonus, myself and the other members of BBFM will be standing around watching Cinema 8 before we go on and you can buy us drinks and see if you can get us too drunk to perform. Won't that be fun? Show starts at 9:30pm. We'd love to see lots and lots of folks come out. We'll make it worth your time, I promise. The new websight is almost finished. In the meantime www.
