It seems that after I sat at this laptop for hours last night, hand crafting a witty and charming update of this week's BBFM schedule, I accidentally sent it to another mailing list that was in my address book. So none of you got the email and about half a dozen people that I know and occasionally communicate with about non-BBFM things are reading the email that I wrote last night and wondering why I think that they care where we're playing this week. But to be perfectly honest with you, I wrote it while watching T.V., something I never do, and I was overcome by an excess of outside stimuli. Long story short, it wasn't very well written. And as we all know, I've got a reputation to protect. I very nearly have an english degree from a fine state university! I can't just send out any old crap under my name. Unfortunately, I am now working with very little time to spare, because I've got a show in just a couple of hours. So you're going to get the short version this week AND you're gonna like it!! THURSDAY OCT. 5 We're back at our new Thursday home: SONOMA'S in COLUMBIA, Md. It's lady's night and we're all gonna get our drink on to an extreme degree. As always, our friend Todd from Thrill will be joining us on extremely loud guitar. Stop reading this and get in your car right now! See ya there. FRIDAY and SATURDAY OCT. 6 & 7 We will be doing a rare two night stand at THE OLDE TOWNE TAVERN in FREDERICK, MD. Folks, this is the weekend of Frederick's "In The Streets" festival and that means that our Freddy friends will be drinking all night Friday and all day Saturday. So, as you can imagine, there will be some WILD STUFF going on at the Olde Towne this weekend. Even more so than usual. I just bought a gross of Mardi Gras beads, so that we can properly reward people for depraved behavior! CAN YOU HEAR ME??? MAKE THE TRIP TO FREDERICK THIS WEEKEND. We will be starting extra early on Saturday. The show begins at 7pm and end when the cops drag y'all off to jail. SUNDAY OCT. 8 I've got a new thing going on Sundays at THE HORSE YOU CAME IN ON in Fells Point. I will be playing with CHRISTA CARTER of Full Matilda. This girl sings her ass off!! So some on down and check us out. It'll be Christa, myself (tom, the drummer), Todd from Thrill (that guy again?) and either Jody from BBFM or Josh from Thrill, on bass.
