Right now as you are, most likely, sound asleep so that you can arise at some godforsaken hour like 6am and run off to your jobs. I, and the rest of my BiggerBetterFasterBrothers are lounging in the group hot-tub with some of our biggest fans (and everything will be cool so long as my lap top doesn't slip into the water). Perhaps you are thinking that it's unfair of me to rub your nose in the vast differences between your lifestyle and ours. That's why I am about to lay our bone crushing schedule for the week on you, in the hopes that you might see that our lives, while fast paced and glamorous, also contain a fair amount of hard labor.............. Our week begins with our weekly Thursday night gig at SONOMA'S in Columbia 410-381-7220. As I've said before, it's lady's night with no cover for the girlies (that's politically correct right?). Our dear friend Todd from Thrill sits in on the guitar and we have FUN, FUN, FUN till our daddy takes our Hyundai away. There's a great crowd of regulars at this place and you might even make a new friend or two, but ya gotta show up (and stop being such an ass). Nothing is more fun then going to work with a hangover............ On Friday Sept. 22 we are back at GENOVA'S in Hampstead, Md 410-239-4100. This place is super duper big fat hairy FUN. It will rock and you will LOVE IT. Thelma and Louise are gonna be there, make sure that you're there too!! Early show: 9pm-12:30 am. Saturday Sept. 23 will be one long ass, but very rewarding day. From 12noon till 1:30pm (yes, this is a time change for all of you junior detectives out there) BiggerBetterFasterMore will be performing at the annual TASTE OF BALTIMORE festival at Camden Yards Stadium. This is a BIG DEAL for this band. There will be about 20,000 people in attendance and there will be food and drink from some of the best restaurants in town. Last year a band with a tremendous reputation for being one of the finest live bands around, did this show (they shall remain nameless, cuz I'm classy) and this year they asked us to do it! Now, what does that tell ya folks? (no, not that they were unavailable) This is going to be a major blast for all parties concerned. PLEASE come on down and show us your support. It would really mean a lot to us. This is an all age event, so bring your kids, bring your parents, bring your 13 year old girlfriend (I don't want to know about it) whatever, just come! We will be doing 1 blistering 90 minute concert set on the B102.7 stage. After we're done a killer band made up of high school kids, called PLUNGE, will be playing. They gave me $20 to say that they kick ass.....so they do! Saturday night (still the 23rd, I think) we will be playing a private party 8pm-12mid at the TRED AVON YACHT CLUB in Oxford, Md. My friends, if you live any where near this place and can score a ticket to this event; DO IT. This was a wild time last year and it's only gonna be wilder this year, if I have anything to say about it.....and I do. Jody's voice is back and what a voice it is! If you missed it like we did, then come out real soon and hear how good he sounds. The wonders of modern laser surgery........... There will be no weekly email next week because we will not be doing any shows (no sonoma's either) and I will be moving in to my new house. Hooray for me, I'm a home owner. And I couldn't have done it without the money that I make from y'all every week. You'll have to stop over soon. So come on out this weekend and then miss us terribly the following week. OK?
