Then, for just a moment, we must pretend that we are not in love, because we here at BBFM WORLD AMALGAMATED INDUSTRIES INC. (a wholly owned subsidiary of "Live Bait While You Wait" L. L. C.) have a couple of apologies to make! Apology number 1: Goes out to all of our buddies that made the trip to see us at the CHESAPEAKE BAY BEACH CLUB, this past Sunday afternoon Sept. 3. As those of you that were there know, there was a bit of a misunderstanding involving some private parties, that led to a lot of people watching the band in the main room, being asked to move to accommodate these private parties. We were just as surprised as you were to find out what was going on. Unfortunately there was a lack of communication between the owners of the club and the people that book us. The club has assured us that the whole thing was a misunderstanding and in fact the club was just being cool to us by honoring our contract instead of canceling the date and keeping all of the private party money for themselves, like a lot of clubs would. So even though it was kind of a cluster f*#k, the folks at the Beach Club were in fact looking out for BBFM. But we apologize to any of our friends that were inconvenienced. We'll find a way to make it up to ya. Apology number 2: Goes out to everyone on our massive mailing list. It seems that real life has gotten in the way of our machine like consistency and our mailer is going out late for the first time in many months (years?). Thank God for e-mail and the Internet or we'd have no way to communicate with you until that mailer was sitting in your mail box (next week). I have attached a WORD DOCUMENT FILE to this mailer that contains our complete September and October schedule, so that you can plan all of your weekends for the next two months around our shows (that is how you do it, right?). We don't wish to subject you to further delays, because we understand that a lot has to be done in order to properly follow BiggerBetterFasterMore. We understand that there are baby-sitters to arrange, travel plans to be made, relationships to be ended (for convenience sake) and slinky, revealing clothing to purchase. So please feel free to download this document, print it and stick it to your forehead (printing facing inward) at least until the regular mailer arrives. You needn't worry about any viruses being sent with this file, because my computer is constantly scanned and protected from that kinda stuff. I'm also wearing a condom while I'm typing, just in case. And if all else fails, you can run right over to www.BiggerBetterFasterMore.net and check out the schedule there. The bottom line is that you gotta eyeball this schedule, because there are some super cool shows coming up. Again sorry for the delay! ENOUGH GROVELING, ON WITH THE WEEKLY UPDATE!! Friday Sept. 8 FELLS POINT CAFE Fells Point, Md 410-327-8800. If you can't have fun at the Fells Point Cafe, pick out a headstone cuz Jack, you dead!! This room gets more and more happening with each passing show. There was an awful lot of flashin' goin' on last time we were here. Not that I approve of that, but if I did, WOOPEE!! So we'll see ya there, right?? Saturday Sept. 9 OLDE TOWNE TAVERN Frederick, Md 301-695-1454. What more can I possibly say about this place. It's like dying and going to heaven, only the floors are soaked with beer, everyone is hammered, the women are all super hot and we have to go out back and wiz in the alley because it's sooooo freakin' crowded. Does it get better than this? Does the pope crap in the woods? (I don't think so, anyway. but he would wiz in the alley of he were at the olde towne). IT ALL STARTS TOMORROW! Thursday nights at SONOMA'S. It's lady's night, no cover for da broads!! BBFM, on stage with special guest TODD from Thrill. You can expect a slightly more laid back, loose, anything goes kind of show. We're gonna teach Columbia how to have fun!! As an extra added bonus, on one of these Thursdays my pal Michael Sauri from FIGHTING GRAVITY is gonna come up and hang out (have you heard of these guys? they rock, but I knew Michael when he was just a little pisher). YIPPEEEE, Jody (bass player) went to his throat Doctor today and he is officially recovered from his vocal chord surgery! Jody will be rejoining BBFM's vocal onslaught right away, starting slow at first and eventually resuming his full vocal work load.
