And the lord did speaketh to the people, and he did say: Thou shalt enjoy BiggerBetterFasterMore (God's official favorite band*) at one or more of the following locations on this very weekend: Friday July 14 FELL'S POINT CAFE @ 723 S. Broadway in Fells Point 410-327-8800. HOORAY for live music in Fells Point. This will be soooo much fun, unless you don't come and then it will suck ass....So come on down!!! Saturday July 15 GENOVA'S in Hampstead, Md 410-239-4100. This place is incredibly cool and the people were so nice to us last time that we didn't want to leave. Eventually they called the law and we high-tailed it outta town, but we are super psyched to come back. Make the trip to Genova's, I'll be glad you did. Well, these will be our last dates until the end of the month, because we're all going to take a little vacation. Jody is going out to Utah to scare Mormons with his loud motorcycle. Dave is going to visit family on Devil's Island. Mike is going camping on Wilkens Avenue in Catonsville and I am going on a "Hookers of the World" tour, that stops in Bangkok, Copenhagen and Dundalk. Ya never know, I might bring back a souvenir by accident...... This very morning (Wednesday) at 7am, our beloved Jody Lewis went under the knife, or laser beam or whatever, to remove a nodule from his vocal cord. Hopefully every thing went as planned and he is now resting comfortably in a morphine haze at home. Although Jody won't be missing any shows, he will be effectively mute for the next couple of months. This would be a great time to call him names or insult him if you've been contemplating that. Since Jody won't be able to talk for a while and as a result, will be unable to carry on his in depth conversations with audience members during the break. I will be picking up as much conversational slack as possible myself. So if you normally chat with Jody at the shows, please feel free to come up to me and start conversing. But do me a favor and get to the point, I'm a busy man.......
